GPS signal is not adequate for Auto-Guide operation

Possible Cause: Differential correction source not locked in Solution: Wait for correction signal to be acquired (Up to 30 minutes), or Consider possible causes and corrective actions for this failure mode

Possible Cause: Correction source subscription expired or not subscribed Solution: Contact Omnistar to renew subscription, or switch to alternate correction source. Check subscription in status screen then details and scroll down to see what subscription they have.

Possible Cause: Local Base not communicating Solution: Verify that there is power to the local base station

Possible Cause: Local Base lost power Solution: Correct local base power condition

Possible Cause: Satellite based correction signal not available Solution: Wait for correction signal to be acquired (Up to 30 minutes), orConsider possible causes and corrective actions for this failure mode. Check satellite forecast in terminal

Possible Cause: Poor constellation of GPS satellites Solution: Wait for satellite constellation to improve (usually within 30 minutes). Check satellite forecast.

Possible Cause: GPS signal is beingobstructed by trees or buildings Solution: Move out from beneath obstructions

Possible Cause: Out of range for base station Solution: Operate closer to base station or move base station

Possible Cause: GPS Receiver Failure Solution: Check harness connections, replace receiver

Possible Cause: Excessive Ionospheric activity (Unavoidable atmospheric condition) Solution: Unavoidable - wait for conditions to improve.

Possible Cause: Radio link interference Solution: Verify radio configuration

Possible Cause: Specified correction signal is not strong enough in the desired area Solution: Select a different correction signal

Possible Cause: Wrong GPS antenna installed Solution: Replace with correct antenna

Possible Cause: Loose antenna cable connection Solution: Tighten antenna cable on both ends

Possible Cause: Antenna cable kinked, conductor damaged Solution: Replace antenna cable

Possible Cause: GPS receiver is downloading new almanac data from satellites Solution: GPS Receiver is downloading almanac data from satellites. Wait for completion (maximum 60 minutes)
